After creating the Backdrop Project, with Ashley Tulpa and Naomi Dable, a mural we painted had gained attention and we were asked to complete a mural for the new Milwaukee Home storefront off of National Avenue in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. We were given a few parameters: the new mural needed to include the Milwaukee Home logo, text about Milwaukee, and a grayscale color palette. After several revisions between the three of us, we began painting the 8 by 19 feet area. It was completed over the course of 10 days. After the mural was done, it gained a lot of social media through the @milwaukeehome Instagram page.
